    Nepal sets 85 run target before UAE


    Kathmandu, July 7: Nepal has set a target of 85 runs to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the warm up match leading up to the ICC World Cup Twenty20 qualification round.

     

    In the match played at the Civil Service Cricket Club at Stormont in Ireland, Nepal chose to bat first after winning the toss and scored 84 runs at the loss of seven wickets in the game reduced to 18 overs after rain stopped play at the beginning.

     

    In the game, Nepal's Sharad Veswakar remained not out with 38 runs under his belt. UAE is currently batting with 33 runs in six overs. RSS
